Happy June everyone!

In my newest release from Entangled Publishing, KISSING THE MAID OF HONOR, my heroine’s first kiss plays a big part in the story. First kisses can be amazing or they can be awful. I’m not sure there’s an in-between, so it’s a good thing the next kiss is usually better, and the one after that even better and the… you get the idea. No matter what number kiss you’re on, though, I think where you kiss can have a big impact on the kiss’s potency. So today I thought I’d share my take on…

The Best Places To Kiss

The first place is at the car wash – the kind where you can stay in the car and go through the wash. You’ve got like thirty seconds to be dirty while your car is getting clean. Make the most of it with a steamy kiss that leaves you both wanting more. Plus, how fun is it to stay in your car at the car wash!

The library is next on my list. It’s quiet. There are plenty of secluded spots, but you might get caught. And there’s books filled with everything imaginable surrounding you. Escape to somewhere romantic in your mind as you suck on your partner’s earlobe, then trace the outline of his ear with the tip of your tongue and whisper something naughty before finally settling on his lips for a long, drawn out kiss.

Kissing anywhere near the ocean is definitely a best spot. Whether its somewhere tropical while you’re on vacation, or at your local beach, give me the surf and give me my hubby’s lips. (Sorry – was that TMI?) Soft sand under your feet, the sound of the waves rolling onto shore, the smell of the sea air, there’s something very romantic about beaches no matter what time of day or year. In KISSING THE MAID OF HONOR, my hero and heroine do a little something in the ocean that might include skinny dipping and kissing. Just sayin’.

Next, how about kissing while cuddling up in a hammock. There’s not a lot of room here, people, so you know what that means, right? Body parts touching. Hips pressed together. I’m thinking this spot could definitely lead to something beyond kissing. Not in the hammock, though. Well, unless it’s safe. Or not. ;) Maybe it’s dark.

And lastly, the best place to kiss is by a fire. It could be a campfire in the woods or a fire in your fireplace. The warmth, the glow, the unthinking calm I think a fire stirs, are the perfect ingredients for a romantic kiss that could go on and on and on.

Oh wait! I’ve got one more quick one—on a swing. Have your guy sit down while you straddle and face him with your arms wrapped around his neck. Swinging is optional.

So that’s my take. There are plenty of more places, though. And now I want to know about you. Where was your most romantic kiss? Leave me a comment and you’ll be entered to win book swag (T-shirt, sticky note pads, bookmarks, signed postcards) from all my releases, plus maybe a few chocolate kisses. :) I’ll announce the winner on Monday, June 11th. Thanks so much for chiming in and good luck!

My most romantic one, was a colder autumn day, chilly outside and the kiss (and huggles) was warm and cozy =D
    Happy Monday!

Best place for me has been the car late at night after he walked to my car. He just leaned in and gave me a sweet kiss.

Hi Evelyn! Aww, another wonderful kiss. There’s something about cars and kissing, I think. ;) Thank you for stopping by!

Hi Esther! Kissing in a movie theater reminds me of so many movies – you know where the guy casually slips his arm around the girl. Love it. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Beth! I get seasick, too. I’ll have to remember the kissing remedy if I’m ever on a boat again. ;)
