I don’t know about you guys, but kissing is one of my favorite parts of romance novels. Especially that First Kiss. In my novella, Worth the Risk, Sam and Dean’s first kiss takes place five years before the novel opens. So I wanted their First Kiss after they meet up again to be really Something.

It takes place in a bar. With a crowd of people looking on. Involves hot sauce. And a dare.

And I can’t believe tomorrow you’ll be able to read about it! Squee!!

Where’s the craziest place you’ve ever kissed?

I hope you’ll join me tomorrow as I celebrate my Entangled release with my Ever After book sister, Diane Alberts! I’m so excited and nervous and happy and delighted AND thankful to all of you! I appreciate every comment, every email, every lurk, every tweet, every thought. In the coming weeks I’ll be visiting some other blogs and I’d love it if you came along! Details to come. In the meantime, I’ll see you tomorrow. I’ll be the one with the huge grin on her face. :D

I’ll definitely be following you on your visits to other blogs. Release day tomorrow – YAY!!!

  2. Wohoo! So excited for you! (Though I’m not sending you kisses, because that would be weird.) Though, like you, I do like the first kiss in a book because the scene is often tender or funny or otherwise memorable.

  3. Hmmm. It’s been awhile. I can’t quite remember. LOL Probably the backroom when I was a teen. When I was working, we wedged ourselves into this tiny little corner to mack on each other. LOL

    As for books.
Man…I love that first kiss. I think it really sets the tone for the whole book when it comes to romance.

Hey, Taryn! Love that you said mack! LOL And there’s nothing like macking when you’re supposed to be working. ;)
